If you are in the area, there’s not many options for Chinese. So, my options were limited. I ordered the steak over white rice and some potstickers and it was delicious. The cubed steak was tender and the sauce that it was sautéed with was well balanced. This restaurant has been here for 40 years +, so they must be doing something right. They also have "American” menu options, lunch specials and a dinner family style menu.
We were searching for good food and found village cafe on the web… Everything was great food service , the cook, the waiter the food could not say enough because we had been traveling and had a long way to go on our way out he shared some almond cookies for the road my favorite ….

Very kind and funny owners! He had fun banter with me and food was great! This isn’t the fanciest place but don’t let that fool you! I had bbq pork, fried shrimp, egg rolls and chicken fried rice! Everything was delicious.
