“I trully love this place. Everyone that works there gave me so much information and have wonderful personalities. They make you feel like part of their family. “I stopped by Berry Brand in Cerritos and tried their customized acai bowl—it was absolutely delicious! The fruits were super fresh, and I really appreciated how friendly the workers were. The shop is nice and clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I asked for extra peanut butter and they added it at no extra cost, which was such a nice touch. They also have free parking, which makes it super convenient. Great quality food and great service—I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Love this park!! Best part is that it’s calm, clean, plenty to do for both kids and adults. Kids playing area is just bubbling with kids. Lots of trees and green patches. Ideal for dogs to roam around as well. Plenty of picnic tables. Has a basket ball court, baseball playground, kids training on football, soccer all the time, a kids pool and hitting zone right next.

Has 2 parking lots which were rebuilt a year ago. It’s neat and holds more than 100 cars easily. Father section of second parking lot houses a bunch of pigeons (around 100 or so). Fun watching them gather and flock around.

Have always loved hanging out here.

My only concern is that at times a section near the main shelter tends to have a few shady people occupy the space. It has been harmless for a few years now. But still felt like mentioning here for the sake of information.“

“Stopped here for lunch and got the beauty salad. It was sooooo good with chicken, avocado, egg, and tons of veggies. Got it with the lime cilantro dressing which was so fresh!!! Also the option size is huge. You can probably eat half or 3/4 and save the rest for dinner. Service was also super friendly!

FYI the restaurant is in a food court, so there’s tons of seating in an air conditioned room and clean bathrooms. There’s also outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Support local businesses!“

“The staff was really nice. My fiancé and I went to get a chamoy manzana preparada to fulfill my pregnancy cravings. It did hit the spot. We also got the chili Fritos which were bomb! “Very good place for a quick healthy bite. Obviously, one needs to choose the healthier options and stay away from the Magic Sauce (Sugar) and other options that make the meal unhealthy. I usually ask for the all white chicken, which is healthier and has more protein than the regular chicken. Flame Broiler is on my weekly fast food rotation, and I appreciate the taste and satisfactory feeling after the meal. Definitely recommend it to everyone.“

“sweetgreen was super great today. Hard to appreciate a chain restaurant more, really. Fighting the good fight with great food this Silverlake location not only has an enviable rotating menu but also parking lot that even represents the best of Silverlake ala carte (if you are familiar).

This is one of the places in Los Angeles that is genuinely competitive with European level cuisine in terms of quality, freshness, and a commitment to aesthetically sound food pairings. Haven't had a bad meal here and don't expect to.

The Chicken Caprese + broccoli, chickpeas, dried onion and breadcrumbs I had today was wholesome and delicious. The fries and their house ketchup also smashed. Ditto for the green ginger drink I had.

Anyway, I don't want to belabor but if you've never been here, I could become a new favorite and if you're visiting from out of town, it's a great example of what makes Silverlake so special. It's definitely in regular rotation for me, especially if I don't have an afternoon to lounge but want a quick bougie lunch montage. Highly recommended.“
