“Excellent customer service“

“First timer. Got the Hot Honey Chicken which had deliciously cooked and seasoned chopped chicken, not too spicy, kale salad, roasted sweet potatoes and quinoa topped with almonds and seeds. It comes with a hot honey dressing which was so delicious I may try to duplicate it. The meal was packed nice in a cardboard tray with lid and it was so delicious. Everything was fresh and hot, except the kale salad, it's a cold salad. I loved every bite and I got the Rosemary focaccia bread which was very fresh and tasty. The food was so delicious, those sweet potatoes were the bomb. I can't wait to go back again and again to try other bowls. The service was excellent. They don't rush you through your order, encourage you to take your time to decide and ask questions. I loved that. Overall 5 Star experience.“

“I own and operate a walking food tour company, so I know a thing or two about the restaurant scene, particularly in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, so hope that gives a little context to my review.

So, my review...This. Place Is. Great! I ordered the "God Save the Quinoa"...quinoa is my favorite grain...and it was perfect. It has all the things you'd want...Kalamata olives, onions, peppercini's and perfectly cooked grilled chicken. But the real star of any salad is the dressing...and this dressing did not disappoint. It's' a lemon vinaigrette, which sounds simple, but there was a little kick to it and something else that I couldn't identify, but I loved it.

John, the owner, has worked for some major superstar chefs and institutions, so he knows what he's doing. He's doing all the basics right while upleveling them in just the way that you'd want. Can't wait to go back and try a different salad or a sandwich.

This neighborhood needs more restaurants like Mad Rebel...healthy choices made from organic and quality ingredients that don't break your budget. If you're shopping at the Beverly Center or staying at a nearby hotel, this should definitely be on your list while in the area. Cheers!“

“Had an event in Echo Park this past weekend, so everyone was excited to have açaí and to our surprise there was a line up outside the store and it probably lasted and hour or so but the 2 individuals working during that time were phenomenal!!! Don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to applaud these two young workers as they managed the busyness with such ease (not to mention the various bases were extremely yummy as well!!)“

“I found this place when I was staying in West Hollywood for a staycation and I really enjoy their acai bowls. If you dine in, they serve in an actual bowl with a metal spoon. I like the sustainable option and moving away from plastic all the time. The staff are all super friendly and the food is reasonably priced considering the size of the bowls. They have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors and it's right on the Santa Monica Blvd strip which is good for people watching. They also offer free wifi.“

“Açaí - fantastic. Service - great, the employees are so sweet and helpful! Atmosphere - INCREDIBLE. You’re surrounded by rainforest plants and these plants have clearly been here forever because they’re huge. You can buy Brazilian goods here too. Love this place and they have WiFi so you could work remotely from here! Lots of tables and a great atmosphere!“

“I just left Oakberry at Century City, and LaVonda is incredible. It was a packed store and she was the only person working. There were some kids who were asking for way too much and she was so patient and still served up delicious food for everyone. “I bought a fruit cup at the Earth Bar in LAX because the fruit looked like there was a possibility that every piece might actually be ripe. I was pleasantly surprised to discover every piece was indeed ripe-kiwi, mango, pineapiple, and grapes. This is a first for me in mass-marketed fruit cups.“

“We got delivery, when we saw the delivery bag we thought it was the smallest delivery one yet, especially since we got a green drink, extra side of chicken and the cashew pudding. (All are in small containers)
So yeah if you’re trying to lose weight and eat yummy this is the place for you! Chicken was juicy and savory. The sauces were good too. Must try their green smoothie it’s one of the best I had (just wished it wasn’t kids drink side)

I'm a fan of being able to customize what goes into your bowl to make it to your liking. Personally I would skip ube as it's flavor is a bit too light and gets masked by all the other toppings.“

“One of my go-to spots for acai bowls and smoothies. The Angry Trainer bowl is one of my favorite acai bowls - it has inchi protein powder which gives it a slightly nutty flavor, a generous amount of blueberries and bananas, sweet, homemade granola, and a drizzling of honey on top. I get the large size for a filling lunch. I really like the granola, and I think the acai is well-blended and smooth.The “avo here” avocado smoothie is creamy and quite filling. I’ve also had the “capo” chocolate which had little cacao crunchies in the smoothie. It also has protein powder so there’s a slight chalky aftertaste, but it’s still good. They do have food, as they work with Roni’s Diner (right next door). The roasted vegetable bowl is quite filling and very healthy - it comes with an Italian balsamic vinaigrette, but I like putting tapatio on it to give it some extra zing. The chicken tinga bowl is also super filling, and they give a pretty generous portion of the shredded chicken.It’s a small space, and it’s best to just grab it to-go. It’s also available on grub hub/seamless. Street parking is available, there’s no free WiFi, and they do take credit cards. Overall it’s a bit pricey, but I enjoy the quality and heft of the acai bowls.“
