“I'm a former nutritionist. About a decade ago, I was using GG Scandinavian Bran Sprinkles. I haven't been able to find them anywhere recently. After an extensive search, I came across Lo Carb U Foods. They had what I wanted in stock & purchased 3 bags. The following day, Jose called to let me know that they only had 2 bags of the sprinkles, but would supplement with crackers, which are the same thing. I'd just have to smash them up to get sprinkle consistency. He also refunded me 10% of the purchase price for the inconvenience. It was so thoughtful! A week and a half later, I still hadn't received my order, so I called and reached Jose again. He looked into the system and saw that the order had been shipped, but there was an issue with the USPS tracking. He spent a day getting transferred from one person to the next and finally found out that my order had been destroyed in transit! He called me back to let me know that they had packaged more than enough of the crackers to cover the damaged order and were FedEx'ing it to ensure that I had it the following day. I have my product and... WOW! Am I impressed with the conscientious, professional and friendly customer service. It doesn't get better than this. Thank you Jose and Lo Carb-U for getting me back in touch with one of my favorite dietary products and for going the extra mile!“

A sandwich, a fresh juice, or any other menu item ordered will be worth it. My wife and I are glad we accidentally found this place. We both ate here before hitting the road back home to San Diego. “I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“Thanks to our fabulous server, Joshua- everything was perfect! Two members of our party had finished the LA Marathon and Josh went out of his way to make sure they got everything exactly as they wished. He treated them like Kings - which they deserved. The food, as usual, was fresh and delicious and fantastic. Major props to the whole kitchen crew for doing such a great job on such a busy day. Also- the grass fed beef in the true blue burger is amazingly tender and fresh. Only to be topped by the grass fed ice cream on top of freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies.“

“Yummy! I've been really into acai lately. When I got a job in Century City, I found myself going to the Century City mall on a daily for lunch. During one of my lunch outings, I came across Oakberry Acai. When I entered, I was getting huge Deja Vu. I realized that I had been there once before thanks to a Yelp event. Since my experience went well during the Yelp event, I already knew I was going to like it.The place was clean and straight to the point. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who helped me order. I got an acai with granola, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. It definitely hit the spot! It tasted fresh and it was filling. Thank you!!“

“For as small as this place is, it was worth it! The food was so good, probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had. My friend and I shared the chilaquiles and the chocolate banana pancakes which were also so fluffy and not overly sweet, they were just right. We came on a weekend for brunch so the place was packed and there was a line waiting to be seated. Good thing we had reservations. Seating is both outside and inside but considering it was a very hot morning, we opted to stay inside. Service was very slow for us compared to others but at least the food made up for it. To drink I tried the chocolate raspberry ice coffee and it was really good as well, again it had just the right amount of sweetness I didn't have to add anything to it. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place (be sure to make reservations)“

“I've made several trips to this location as a post-workout pick-me-up. I like the Muscle Builder (blueberries, banana, almond milk, almond butter, and plant-based protein) and the Flax Power (Amazonian açaí, flax powder, coconut water, banana, maca, cinnamon, and plant-based protein) smoothies the most. The Wake Me Up with dates and coffee is also pretty good. The drinks are excellent, but the service can be real hit or miss. There's been improvement since it seems they've added more folks to their team, but a couple of times I've gone in, there's no acknowledgment of customers at the till. I get it if you're busy and making drinks and working the till, but you have to at least acknowledge folks who walk in and say hello, and that you'll be them in a moment or something. I'm glad they've added more folks to the team, because it can be a lot to man a till and also handle the drinks on your own. The interior is nice, and clean, and there's some seating outside, but doesn't seem like a place people come to hangout at - just order, grab, and go! Tip: there's free parking in the rear, via an alley!“
“Sweetgreen is my holy grail! I used to drive to the location on 3rd whenever I come into the office because I'd allow it to be a little treat for myself rather than bringing in lunch. When they opened this location, I couldn't be more ecstatic! The food is of course delicious and refreshing but the staff is what really takes the cake. Luis has helped me a few times to the point where I feel like I've become a regular so it's always nice to see him when I come in for my lunch. He's friendly, generous, and charismatic -- when working in Beverly Hills, it's so refreshing to come to an energy like this. 10/10“
