“Went for a run at the beach and wanted something healthy and I came across this place it's a hidden gem in the playa vista/ Marina area the staff was super nice and the food was really fresh and good ! It took me. While to figure out what I wanted but I went with the Chicken Athena bowl it was great !! I also had the Sun God Smoothie ( a little pricey for a smoothie) but good nonetheless. They have lots of options I'll definitely go back to try !“

“Food at sweetgreen appears to be standard across this locations and is perpetually fresh and delicious. The staff here are very receptive to working with customers, they have a great team. There is a great area to sit both inside and outside. Overall, it's a great location and great value for its freshness. I always feel like I'm eating healthy grabbing Sweetgreen for dinner - and it is hard to get such a variety of fresh ingredients on my own. It can be busy around dinner or lunch time, so you can order ahead at those time to avoid the rush.“

“This is such a cute spot, I had my reservations, as I am a neighbourhood resident and I had heard not-so-great stuff, but upon going in for my first time, I was recommended a fantastic shake, and I also got a wrap. “Yummy! I've been really into acai lately. When I got a job in Century City, I found myself going to the Century City mall on a daily for lunch. During one of my lunch outings, I came across Oakberry Acai. When I entered, I was getting huge Deja Vu. I realized that I had been there once before thanks to a Yelp event. Since my experience went well during the Yelp event, I already knew I was going to like it.The place was clean and straight to the point. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who helped me order. I got an acai with granola, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. It definitely hit the spot! It tasted fresh and it was filling. Thank you!!“

“True food has yet to ever disappoint. Tried in other states and locations each time it’s phenomenal. The crazy food combo/creations they come up with always seem to work excellent together. It’s so hard to keep trying more stuff because whatever you get is so good you just keep wanting that. Parking isn’t the best during lunch, but it’s worth parking far away and walking if you need to…it’s that good.Everything tastes fresh and like it’s made with love. They have a TON of options including your traditional burgers and fries but also healthy options like wraps, salads and more.I always feel like they appreciate my business and go out of their way to make sure I enjoy each visit. “For as small as this place is, it was worth it! The food was so good, probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had. My friend and I shared the chilaquiles and the chocolate banana pancakes which were also so fluffy and not overly sweet, they were just right. We came on a weekend for brunch so the place was packed and there was a line waiting to be seated. Good thing we had reservations. Seating is both outside and inside but considering it was a very hot morning, we opted to stay inside. Service was very slow for us compared to others but at least the food made up for it. To drink I tried the chocolate raspberry ice coffee and it was really good as well, again it had just the right amount of sweetness I didn't have to add anything to it. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place (be sure to make reservations)“

“This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“

“I always enjoy True Food Kitchen for it's diverse and unique offerings. The food is always fresh and the wait staff and very friendly and professional. This is healthy, clean food. I especially appreciate the array of vegan options, not just a mock meat burger and a side salad, but legit tasty vegan options throughout the menu, including dessert! It's one of the few places I can confidently go with none vegans and know we'll both enjoy something on the menu.“

“Grilled Fraiche never fails to impress! I recently tried their salmon with noodles, opting for their gluten-free option, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was cooked and seasoned to my surprise very well. While the protein portion might have been smaller than expected, the flavors definitely made up for it. However, I did notice that the plantain I ordered was served cold, which was a slight disappointment. Considering the overall quality of the meal and the availability of gluten-free options, I would gladly return for another experience at Grilled Fraiche“

They aren't huge and anything over $10 for a smoothie is way too much for me. Still, I will probably be back at some point because it's in a good location and tastes so good.“
