Great brewery super good selection, good vibes and brewmaster was awesome to talk to.

Great craft brewery with some really unique beers. Met Bob the brewer who's an awesome dude. I love that they have food trucks outside sometimes.

The best feature of this brewery is the glass flight holder/contraption, it has a swiveling handle which lets you carry them in style.

As a first-time visitor to Alpha Acid Brewing Company in Belmont, California, I had a great time exploring their craft beers. The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some unique brews.

Their beer selection is impressive, with a variety of flavors to choose from, and the staff were friendly and eager to help me find something I would like. I appreciated their knowledge and enthusiasm about the beers they serve.

However, I did run into a couple of hiccups. I initially came for what I thought was an event, but discovered that the website calendar was outdated and showed last year’s events. Also, their phone number didn’t work when I tried to call ahead for more information.

Despite these small issues, my visit was enjoyable, and the quality of the beer made up for it. I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in the area, just double-check event details ahead of time!

Updated. They have some outdoor seating now and regular food trucks. And the beer is still top notch.

I had some unscheduled time on Christmas Eve afternoon, and found out they were open for a few hours, so I Lyfted over and had tasters of most of their beers. It turned out that the person serving and telling me about the beers was the head brewer, so I think I got pretty lucky, though I get the impression that it is a pretty small operation (in a good way). I rated everything I tried between 3.75 and 4.75 out of 5, which is a great track record. I'll almost certainly be back when I'm in town again.

Their listing on Google Maps says they were open until 7pm on Sun (10/6), so we show up at 6:30ish to a complete ghost town and locked doors. Fix your business hours!!

Great place with a good selection of beers. On a warm day, lots of outdoor space but also plenty of shade.

Alpha Acid is the closest brewery to us and we are SO lucky! We came our first night after moving to Belmont and we’ve never looked back. They excel at sours, IPAs, and dark stuff and are always releasing new beers. The vibes are great, too, both for the people working there and the people drinking there. Drink here!

Alpha Acid has a beer for everyone on tap usually. A stout, Belgium, sour, and a few IPAs. There is usually a good food truck but also a very good Mexican restaurant a couple hundred yards away you can bring in.

Love this place. Great beer great atmosphere.
