I typically only write reviews if my experience is exceptionally good or bad. Today, I ordered a spicy tuna roll, and I wasn't impressed. There was too much rice, and it lacked proper seasoning. Despite being labeled "spicy tuna," it wasn't spicy at all. My co-worker ordered the same roll and shared the same opinion. Honestly, it's one of the worst sushi rolls I've ever had. I'd even say Safeway's sushi is better. Plus, the wasabi and ginger weren't fresh. The food truck was situated within Stanford.

Photo - pork tonkatsu, ginger, seasame dressing greens, over white rice. Can of green tea.Pork was hot, breading was crispy and delicious. rice was fresh. dressing was good.No issues it was good; except nothing outstanding and $18 and change. Would I eat there again - maybe. Would I try a fresh option first, probably.

A pleasant Japanese food truck with a limited menu highlighting rice-centric dishes. Nothing novel or ground breaking here, but still comforting. It was nice to see how fresh veggies were highlighted in each dish, but not dominating the dish.Shrimp Tempura Roll: While I'm always a little hesitant to order sushi from a truck, there was no raw fish in this roll so I felt fine about it. Turned out to be delicious! Seemed made-to-order, since the tempura coating on the shrimp was still crispy. Paired nicely with the crunchy cucumber and sticky rice. Also, loved the slightly sweet and slightly salty sauce on top.Curry Tonkatsu: More fried goodness, this time in chicken cutlet form. Crispy all around and tastes great dipping into that curry sauce. Lots of spices in the curry, though kinda mild on the chili heat. The tender onions, carrots and zucchini added a perfect freshness to the curry. Meanwhile, the steamed broccoli outside of the curry was very meh. Tons of rice, more than there was enough curry for, so ended up not finishing all the carbs.

5 stars because I don't wanna ding them cuz it's not their fault. They haven't even claimed this Yelp business when this review is written anyways, so maybe they're not even the ones who created this Yelp page? I don't know. Anyhow, I thought they were a regular restaurant/eatery place you can order a meal from based on the other reviews. But turns out they're a catering business. How do I know? I called to ask if they accept Apple Pay and the lady who picked up the phone told me they're a catering business. So, I wasn't able to get the Juicy Lucy Katsu bowl as shown on a pic of their menu posted in this App.

Decided to order DoorDash and discovered this place! Ordered the Assorted Inari and Spicy Salmon Roll. I really enjoyed the inari but I thought the spicy salmon was a little bland. Both dishes tasted really fresh regardless and I'm curious what the storefront looks like now! I'll definitely try it again to taste some of the entree/bowls they have.

This is in the same location as Hongry Kong and Miss Subi and is pickup only (use GrubHub). They get a steady number of people waiting for pickups at lunch time. I had the oyakodon and gyudon and both were delicious. Would come here again.

Amazing food! I found this place on grubhub and decided to take a chance because I was craving tonkatsu and cake, and that's what they had on their menu, and I'm so glad I did. The food was all fresh and delicious. You can tell this place really takes care to make sure they're serving quality. Even the pickled ginger that came with my bento was made from scratch (a first for me as most restaurants serve the premade pickled ginger you can get at the store.) I ordered the tontaksu bento, beef potato croquettes, mocha cookies, and black sesame chiffon cake. The bento was super filling and every item was cooked perfectly. The mocha cookies were delicious and still warm from the oven. The chiffon cake was light and airy as a cloud and great for us who don't like our desserts to be too sweet. I'd attach pictures but I ate too fast. This isn't the last time I'll be ordering
