This place is pretty small but cute. There are not that many seats inside, and most people seem to be taking food to go. I got the tonkatsu quesadilla for $12 and it was essentially cabbage, corn, and tonkatsu, and cheese inside a tortilla(?) shell. It was an interesting item, but tasted pretty good.
Jiro cafe is an amazing hidden gem of a Japanese cafe nestled in the green hills of Belmont. The pastries and food here are top notch and authentic and this place is actually Japanese owned. Their yakisoba sandwiches to their katsu as well as the melon soda and delicious hojicha lattes transported me to the charming cafes in Ginza, Tokyo. So good!
I love this place. Great little Japanese bakery with all the classics you’d expect. I get lunch here sometimes too, which is also really good. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a Japanese cafe and bakery, one of the best I’ve found around the area.
