What a lovely cafe to enjoy. Small and quiet. Great food. Enjoyed our breakfast. Avocado toast with salmon was sooo good. The eggs, potatoes and bacon were perfect. Coffee is outstanding. Has great garden seating or inside table seating. Friends have said lunch is great too. We will return.

Took a friend here for belated birthday lunch. You order at the front counter and then the food is delivered to your table. We sat outside then moved in as the wind picked up. Cute interior and cozy atmosphere. It was later in the afternoon on a Sunday and the Salad We wanted was sold out. Understandable! We ordered A mix of items to share. First our drinks came about 5-10 minutes (iced tea and tart Lemonade) after we ordered. We got the wagyu burger, the bacon topped deviled eggs, the roasted carrot side and the grilled artichoke side. The food took awhile to come, maybe 20+ minutes but was well worth it, this ain't fast food!! The dishes were tasty. The burger didn't look amazing but the flavor was top notch!! The side salad was a bit salt-heavy. The sides were all delicious. The artichokes were a little hard to eat. Many of the tough outer leaves needed to be removed so there was barely 4 bites of artichoke left. The tomato aioli that accompanied was delicious!! Overall a good experience and I would recommend. Thanks Chef Kyle!

The food is amazing. I personally love every soup I have had there! The prices are good considering you can get some of the same type of foods that cost considerably more at other restaurants down the street. Fregola pasta is AMAZING!! Salmon is perfect. Flat bread is incredible. Cafe burger is my husband's favorite. The daily quiche is absolutely perfect. Even if you just want something as simple as coffee, I recommend heading on over to this sweet, comfortable place and sit back and relax.

Entrees were tiny. We all left hungry. Tasty, but appetizer-sized meals. I won't return. Also, the chairs were uncomfortable

I had a lovely breakfast with my husband at this charming Inn. The Inn is super cute and beautifully decorated. Very clean. The waitress was the nicest. And the food was good. We shared an order of hash and quiche. The hash isn't really a hash, it is actually just potatoes with brussel sprouts and onion, but tasted good. I also ordered the endless mimosas and had 3.5 glasses of the carrot mimosa. Every time I was about done with a glass, the waitress somehow sensed it and refilled for me. I think this place is a good location to go on a date. So many cute little areas to sit and have privacy. We sat at the red couch and no other customers sat in our room the whole time we were there. Felt like we had the place all to ourselves. I accidentally left my hat there and the waitress chased us down the street to give it back to me. A+ service!

Obviously very fresh ingredients and cooked with love. Limited menu items an a bit pricey for what you get. I'm also not a fan of ordering and paying for my meal at the counter. Your then provided with a number and on your own to find a seat. I'm even less of a fan of the tipping options when paying by card at the counter starting at 15% and working its way up when I did most of the work. They bring your food to your table after ordering at the counter but finding condiments and getting water to drink is on you. $50+tip for 2 small breakfast meals and 2 coffees. Meh.

Our first time this morning, for brunch; what a lovely outdoor setting in the courtyard under the warm late winter sun! The eggs were perfectly cooked, tasty toast w/ homemade orange marmalade (my favorite), perfect mimosas w/ fresh orange juice, but the potatoes and sausage were a tad too salty to finish. Less salt (and I LIKE salt) would be my only recommendation, the rest was great! thank you!

The Cafe at The Inn is a little hidden gem close to downtown Benicia for breakfast and lunch. The coffee Americano was delicious and piping hot. The breakfast was so tasty. It's not inexpensive, but it's a good value for your dollar. The ambience is really fun. We will be backon a sunny day to try their Wagyu hamburgers and chicken pot pie. I especially loved their potatoes that came with our breakfast. Excellent service.

Once I heard about this cafe opening I couldn't wait to visit. I was familiar with the chef, so I knew I was in for a fresh and tasty meal. The entrance is through the quaint patio area. Inside the cafe is cozy and inviting. I ordered the breakfast plate which comes with two Napa fresh eggs with the most vibrant yolks, potatoes kissed with rosemary, bacon and toast. I also ordered an Americano that was surprisingly the star of the morning. The coffee was bold and smooth without any bitter taste. This cafe is really charming and worth a visit. They also have a day dedicated to wine tasting in the afternoon. I will be returning to try some of the other items on the menu.

Have been going on Thursdays for wine tasting from 4-6. Friendly staff. Can't wait to try breakfast with mimosas when time allows. Great food & locally sourced food. A must try.

Yes. 5 Stars. It's been a long wait - finally getting a full service breakfast in Downtown Benicia has been worth the wait. The BEST country fried potatoes, with a saviry hint of Rosemary, eggs done just right any way you want them, tasty sausages (I couldn't tell you what the bacon is like because I don't dare pass on the sausage!). Give me the Chicken Pot Pie done their way - the right way. The burger, the Salmon Gallette. Dessert! The whole crew is spitited as are the patrons. It's a really joyous environment. Come down with your friends and become better friends. Good food for good people

Wonderful place to have a cozy lunch with a friend, or a peaceful cup of tea and a snack on a rainy day, or a celebratory brunch with mimosas .The Cafe at the Inn has plants, flowers at every table, and multiple spacious airy rooms so you can choose which type of ambiance you want. The service is friendly and attentive- but not too attentive-and very fast. Order at the counter and then sit at a table to wait for your food, but it doesn't seem like one of those places. I wouldn't shy away from taking a date there because of that.Parking: Free parking spaces behind Inn
