If there was a category for Zero that’s the rating I would pick. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and I can’t believe how horrible everything was compared to when they first opened. The main waitress (did not get her name but she’s the one that’s been there since day 1) was extremely rude and should not be in customer service. I asked the waitress about one of the dishes and she didn’t know the answer. She could’ve said I’ll find out and get back to you. The quality of their food declined significantly! I’ve never felt so disappointed in my life specially spending almost $200. I will NEVER go back there again!!!!

We went during the restaurant witching hour of 3 to 4 pm however there were 3 other tables at that time. We started with the roti and chicken curry dip which was likely the best of the visit albeit nothing special. The sea bass I ordered had to be returned as it was inedible from freezer burn and curled edges. I opted for the pork curry which was brought to my dog after a few bites to determine the pork was low quality and tasted like old blood. Loved my beer however.

Been here multiple times and Aung MayLika never misses! Whenever I'm craving something homey and comforting, this is where I tend to gravitate. The food is just so flavorful! Some of my favorite dishes to order are the salt and pepper swai, the tea leaf salad, and the palatha with side of curry. Also, you can never go wrong with their Burmese milk tea. Service is usually quick and pleasant, even when they are packed with a full house. I usually dine-in for dinner, and they consistently satisfy my Burmese food cravings each time! They have a great selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes, soups, rice and noodle dishes, and some chef's specials, so there is definitely something for everyone! If you're a fan of Burmese food, I highly, highly recommend coming to Aung Maylika to get your fix! And if not, please try it out!

Quick and attentive service ( not too much) even though they were busy. Great food. Love the tea salad. The garlic eggplant with shrimp was really good. The samosas to start were a good choice , nice and tender filling with a great crust. We also had crispy chicken, garlic noodles, garlic broccoli, and black pepper beef. All were delicious. I had a great tasting ginger lemonade.

My boyfriend and I love this place! Easily the best restaurant in Benicia. Shrimp salad and coconut chicken curry is so yummy. We've been here many times and we'll definitely be back!

We love Aung MayLiKa!! Truly such amazing Burmese food and perfect for our household as we have vegetarian and Gluten-Free. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Looking forward to dining outside on the patio now that the weather is getting nice!

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It's much more affordable than the Burmese restaurant you are thinking of with similar, excellent food. We had leftovers which felt like a great value. The service was Quick and Benecia is a beautiful setting.

Never disappoints quick and delicious, we have only been a few times but it was good each time. I can't wait for warmer weather to check out the patio.

Downtown Benicia is always a lovely experience, especially when you can find parking, explore 1st Street, or sit down to a good meal. Aung Maylika provides with thier Burmese-american fusion style food. Came in on a Sunday evening with the fam bam to try something different. It wasnt too busy so we were sat quite quickly with a nice corner spot at the front to three peeps. Inside the restaurant was a little narrow but could fit a nice size amount of people. I could see if there were people waiting at the front podium for seats or take out that it could be a little bit of a mess cause there is not much of a waiting area. Service was pretty quick and our order of food was right on time cause we were a little hungry....side note: Lavender lemonade & Shirley temple drinks are a major yes!!! Only set back was food portion seemed a little on the small side against our bill. I know the cost of having a restaurant is high right now, but if you're are worth the trip the people will pay. Ciao for now ........

Aung MayLiKa is the meeting place with life long college friends for lunch. Always great food and excellent service! We enjoyed the four dishes we ordered: basil chili beef (hold the heat), chicken crisp (always good), garlic noodles with BBQ pork, and eggplant w/ chicken (another favorite), plus a bowl of coconut rice. Will come back once again for our next get together.
