The ambience is good. We went there twice in two weeks. Although this restaurant used to serve South Indian cuisine before, now it is North Indian based.

Mirchi is a great little Indian restaurant in Benicia! Clean establishment with nice place settings. I came here on a Sunday for an early dinner and there was plenty of open seating. It was mostly people coming in to pickup takeout orders. The staff were friendly and very polite and attentive to us. We ordered butter chicken, garlic naan, and basmati rice and everything was delicious! Definitely a place to try!

hospitality is top-notch, as is the friendly staff. Most importantly, the food is STELLAR. I always get the Butter Chicken (Mild) with the Basmati Rice/Garlic Naan and wash it down with the Mango Laasi
