Their oyster po boy is top notch, jumbolaya is right up there. This a great eatery. The mission now is to wade through their entire menu. Dog friendly outdoor seating.
We came across this incredible place about 4-5 months ago and have been hooked ever since. The owners Naomi and Dan are wonderful people and they create daily specials that they run out of almost every day because the food is that delicious!!! She asks for it every day LOL I love their fried Brussel sprouts !!!My husband loves their smoked...read full review

The Workshop is a local favorite in Benicia, CA, known for serving huge and delicious sandwiches. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff, providing nice service to its customers. The owner, who learned Southern cooking from a grandmother and attended culinary school in Louisiana, ensures that the dishes speak to the soul. Many reviews praise the food, describing the catfish po'boy served on a French roll as scrumptious, with thin slices that are crispy outside and moist inside. The oyster po' boy and jambalaya are also highly recommended.
Customers have enjoyed the Cajun Chicken Pot Pie, although some prefer the jambalaya with rice over the version with potatoes. The service is excellent, with quick turnaround on takeout orders. While the outdoor seating is limited, the restaurant offers decent views and easy access, making it a convenient stop for locals and tourists alike. With its excellent food and friendly atmosphere, The Workshop remains a favorite spot for those who love good Southern cooking.
