solid bagel shop, prices reflect high rent they're prolly paying. Always check your order before you leave.

Pumpernickel bagels and Hotlink bagel dog

I have come in here a few times before work but I'm giving up on it. The girls who work here are really nice, but the product is just not good. First of all, they're never fully stocked with bagels. Only a few flavors are available each morning, so it definitely limits your choices. Some reviews have said the bagels are freshly baked each morning, but I would tend to disagree because all of mine have been stale. They don't have much taste to begin with, but every bagel stored in a basket near the onion bagel takes on that flavor. I like onion, so I wasn't too put off, but I could see how expecting cinnamon raising and just tasting onion could really turn people off. It's just not worth your money.

Grabbed an egg and cheese on jalapeno cheese bagel. The bagel sandwich came out hot and they cut it in half. The egg is premade and just heat up again. The bagel was lightly toasted. Service was very attentive and fast.

Ew ew ew ew ew they leave their eggs and meats in plastic tubs sitting out on the counter (not properly stored). Health code violation?

I went in for a sandwich, the person helping me heard my order wrong and when I went to pay I corrected her and she gave me attitude about getting what I actually wanted. Then my order came out after everyone else that had been in line behind me. To make matters worse, after returning all the way back to work, I found out that the chips that came with my order were expired in March. Usually I wouldn't really mind but they tasted terrible, absolutely stale and disgusting. Just not a good experience at all. I would suggest reading back the orders before you start making them.

I'm having a major bagel craving at the moment. Yesterday I went to Noah's and found their bagels to be too fluffy. The cream cheese was too. Today I came here for the same - a poppy seed bagel and cream cheese. It was hearty and sooooo good!!!! The employee put a lot of cream cheese, which was nice. This is now my bagel go to. For the Yelpers complaining about their coffee, visit Peets. And rate 4th Street Bagel for what they do best -- bagels.

Despite being in a "fancy" area this place is very run of the mill.. mediocre bagels and mediocre coffee

Just got 1 bagel/cream cheese and 1 small coffee at this place on 11/25/19. The bagel and cream cheese tasted as expected, the coffee needed to actually have coffee added to it, toooo watery, super weak! The whole thing was overpriced and the service was flat, they were not rude but not friendly, either. They did not seem to care if you were buying there or not. I would not go back there, no value at all. Better use the Pete's Coffee across the street!

Best bagel west of Manhattan

So disgusting! I paid $6 for this croissant, and the old avocado was $1.75. The cheese was just slapped on there, not even melted. Worst experience ever.

I came here for a bagel and had the best customer service by Kaia. She was so polite and an enthusiastic sales woman. She made the absolute best bagel I've ever had. Definitely coming back highly recommended.
