Simply the perfect restaurant. In town for 36 hours. Needed a solid breakfast for wifey and our 3 year old. This place delivered on every level. Perfect menu. Perfect execution. Perfect music. Perfect coffee. Perfect cheesy grits with the perfect steak n eggs. Perfect vibe. Perfect fruit jam. Perfect service. Perfect hot sauce. Three very happy people walked out of there. Perfect perfect perfect.
Great staff, excellent food, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Their fried chicken sandwich is my favorite in the area and I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on their menu.
It was busy but as I walked through the door, owner greeted me and upon learning that I was flying solo… gave me a plethora of options.
Server (possibly second owner?) came very quickly and his style was pure gold ie pleasant, efficient, effortless and a hawk eye for detail.
Food arrived without drama and probably faster than it should have.
I don’t know how I missed this gem. You shouldn’t.
