The MOST DISGUSTING sandwich you can get around Berkley! The beef is smelly, and the sauce is weird. Worse still, they put chilly into the sandwich to hide the smell! DISGUSTING, DISGUSTING, DISGUSTING!

Probably the best bahn mi spot in Berkeley. Their sandwiches are always so full and flavorful. I get the lemongrass grilled pork every time.

Bestie and I thought we could give this place a try! We always walk by this place when we get our usual drink fix at MIND Coffee. My friend got the Combo sandwich and I thought I'd give the Five Spice Chicken sandwich a try. We ordered it through DoorDash to pick up due to the usual long line of students ordering. It was fast and quick, but very small place. I usually only see two or three people working in there so please be patient due to it being small. My friend thought it was pretty decent for her combo sandwich; I thought the five spice chicken had a pretty good amount of flavor too. I still love me the Cam Huong chicken in East Oakland for their sandwiches though, but it's always good to try new places. I'd give 4 out of 5 for their sandwich. Service was okay; I assume it's because they have a lot to do and many people were waiting for their order.

Sour face service. We felt like we are disturbing them even though we bought food for 3 people and bringing them business. Oh, even though the restroom is obviously visible from the counter, they refused access to their restroom for our little daughter, who was obviously having issues trying to hold it in. I think there's a lack of empathy here.

It wasn’t indicated anywhere that they put chili and so much spices into the sandwich. The Turkey panini I ordered wasn’t edible, I gave it back to them. Unfortunately, all they could offer was remove the chili from sandwich and give it back to me.

The imperial rolls are bad. They seem to be frozen. Not fresh at all. Don’t recommend

I have ordered twice from here first time no complaints on the Banh mi, however this second time my chicken rice plate had raw pieces which I can't over look. Please be mindful

I think this is the best banh mi place in Berkeley in my opinion. It has the airy and crunchy baguette with appropriate amount of fill of protein and vegetables. I'm surprised they add some spicy jalapeño slices! Perfect for my taste and brings me some nostalgia but it isn't for everyone. I don't make any adjustments to banh mi orders except maybe add an fried egg once a while. At less than $10 a sandwich it's a good size and overall tasty. I've tried about 5 different sandwiches and my favorite is the lemongrass pork. It has a bit of patte and seasoned pork. I usually order ahead (I usually buy 5+ sandwiches for the week) and pick up was normal and easy.

Dry. Dry. Dry. I have no idea what I just ate. I love banh mi. I even used a popular banh mi spot to cater my 50th. This place is not it. I stopped in while my daughter and her friends were at the fro-yo down the block. I ordered the pork banh mi. What I got was a dry, sauce free sandwich with mystery tiny cold granules of pork? Tofu? Paper? Who knows? Flavorless, inedible and sad. I tossed after eating half. Three stars bc the boba Thai iced tea was delish. Never again

I recently discovered this restaurant on Grubhub they offered a special coupon for first-time orders. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Although the banh mi sandwich initially seemed lacking in meat, it turned out to be just the right amount. The vermicelli bowl was delicious, with perfectly portioned servings. The spring rolls were fresh and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I was also impressed to learn that the restaurant makes their own bread. While I can't comment on the service since we ordered delivery, everything arrived fresh, well-packaged, and on time. This restaurant has definitely earned a spot in my top 5 go-to places for Vietnamese cuisine!

Their banh mi roast pork was yummy and cooked to perfection and the combination pho was delicious!

Food: Sandwiches are good, especially the crispy pork sandwich. Not many places have crispy pork in Berkeley so that's a plus. It is a bit pricy compared to some of the other spots I've been to in San Jose, but it is on the cheaper side for Berkeley restaurant pricing. I was also finally able to get sugarcane juice from this place, which is probably one of the best drinks I've had in Berkeley. My only gripe is that the cup was small for the price as there were places in San Jose that would give you twice as much for the same price.

The food is great. Comparable to duc hung sandwich shops. No complaint what do ever!! The owners are really nice too.

Service was nice but the sandwiches we got …. I really don’t know how one can put all of the ingredients of a banh mi sandwich together and have it taste like nothing, flavorless—no exaggeration. I got the pork belly sandwich and 1) the meat looked nothing at all like the picture, I expected pork belly ? 2) the “meat” looked plastic, really, lower quality than Subway meat next door or your local Safeway. Bread was too soft not the right texture, cilantro and carrots were somehow—like I said—flavorless, was there even Mayo or Pate on it? Couldn’t tell. Not sure where to start on how to fix these sandwiches because none of the parts are quality or sufficient. Really disappointed that we felt like we had to force ourselves to stomach these sandwiches so as not to waste them.
