Bear's Ramen House is a cozy and straightforward spot on the south side, known for their excellent ramen, soba noodles, and kimchi fried noodles with spam. Customers appreciate the large portions and the ability to customize dishes, like adding extra veggies to their ramen. The kimchi fried rice with spam and egg is popular among regulars. The owner is very nice and accommodating, even offering the key to their outside bathroom when asked. Visitors should try the tasty potstickers when they stop by. The dine-out area is quite pleasant, making it a good place for a quick meal or a casual outing. Vegetarian options include miso tofu ramen and possibly one other dish, so vegetarians are not left out. Some reviews mention that the prices are high for the portion size, and the spicy rice cakes (Tteokbokki) are not large enough to be a full meal. The beef ramen, however, has received mixed reviews, with some finding the meat dull and the broth weak. Overall, Bear's Ramen House offers satisfying comfort food with friendly service, perfect for those craving kimchi fried rice or a quick ramen fix.
