It was over 2 years ago that I ate there and never wanted to go back. The server was rude to us for no reason. I didn’t really understand why he was rolling his eyes or looked annoyed when he was writing down our order. I guess they don’t really care about their service since it’s a college town and it’s usually students who dine there.

Chicken and Waffles 10/10- the fried chicken here is so good! Normally I’m not a fan of chicken and waffles as a combination, but this was truly incredible. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside but so juicy and tender inside. The seasoning was amazing and the waffle was fluffy with the perfect texture. The way they paired together was actually perfect - the sweetness of the waffle complemented the savory chicken so well. This completely changed my mind about chicken and waffles.

Beef Bulgogi Scramble 8.87/10- made with marinated ribeye, carrots, spinach, red onion, cherry pepper, and scallion. This was such a unique twist on a breakfast scramble! The marinated ribeye was so tender and flavorful - you could taste how well-seasoned it was. The vegetables added great texture and freshness, and I loved how the cherry peppers gave it a little kick. The scallions added this perfect finishing touch. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors worked so well together.

KFC Benedict 10/10- I love eggs Benedict and I love how they made a twist on it by making it with Korean fried chicken! This was so good and so creative. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and had amazing flavor, and I loved how they incorporated scallions and Gochujang hollandaise sauce - it’s so unique and delicious. The Gochujang hollandaise was the perfect balance of creamy and spicy. The eggs were poached perfectly with that runny yolk. This is definitely one of the most creative benedicts I’ve ever had.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes 9.68/10- these were the perfect sweet treat to balance out all the savory food! They were so light and fluffy but packed with amazing flavor. The lemon was bright and fresh, and the ricotta made them incredibly moist and creamy. They weren’t too heavy which was perfect after all the other rich dishes. The perfect ending to an amazing meal.

Bottomless Mimosas 10/10- the bottomless mimosas were great! They definitely had all of us completely exhausted from them but they were so fun. You get 90 minutes which is plenty of time, and you get the option of having them with orange juice, fresh raspberry lemonade, or grapefruit juice. My personal favorite was definitely the raspberry lemonade - it was so refreshing and had the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Berkeley Social Club is honestly one of my favorite places in Berkeley (yes, I’m basic) but it’s such a fun spot and their food is so good! I love how their food is pretty unique with creative twists on classic dishes, and it’s such a fun vibe to hang out with friends. I always end up coming here whether it’s planned or not, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is always lively and the service is great. It’s the perfect spot for brunch with friends!

I suppose this is some type of fusion. The menu did blend some Asian influence in with western food in a nice new way. When they're not real busy it can get cozy and the service is always on point. One of the best places to dine in downtown Berkeley.

A very social scene. They push the millionaires bacon so I got the BLT. That tomato...so I combined the two halves

Great modern Korean food.

Had a reservation, got a text our table was ready 10min late, then waited 45min to sit down. Food was average but the wait time was nearly an hour even though we had a reservation. If you’re hungry or in a time crunch, I would not recommend eating here.

Great Asian-inspired brunch spot on University in Berkeley. There are many different appetizing choices but I always seem to come back to the Club Loco Moco. Service is pretty good. It gets crowded so the staff is usually running around but somehow manages to make things work. Parking isn’t east on the street so factor in some time to get settled.

Immersive and unassuming from the outside. Drop in and be swept away with delicacies from blueberry stuffed French toast to amazing breakfasts to rival any 5 star restaurant. Highly recommend the crab and eggs Benedict with wasabi hollandaise! Simply Dope!

Always our goto on gamedays in Berkeley! Vegan breakfast scramble and bottomless mimosas for $24 is a no brainer. We also like the Benedict’s! Tasted the absolute best pancake I’ve ever had! Service is alway great and this place is very popular on weekend mornings so depending on the time, you could have a bit of a wait

Vegetarian options: Breakfast scramble and vegan scramble- the breakfast potatoes are amazing and the curry flavor of the vegan scramble is awesome. Lots of vegetarian options as their pancakes are the best!

Unique food in a comfy casual place right by Cal campus. We came by on Sunday before noon to join the wait-list. We were seated in about 25 minutes. Along the sides of the restaurant are tables with benches and cushions, and luckily we got one of these tables.

We ordered the pimped up Ramyun and dutch pancake. The waitress mentioned the dutch pancake takes about 20 minutes to prepare which was fine. What's interesting is, the Ramyun took 20 minutes to arrive, which I attribute to a backed up kitchen. Looking around at the parties who were seated moments before us, they didn't have their food yet either. The pancake came after 30 minutes and it was beyond delicious! I loved the crispy edges with the soft moist bottom. All the toppings went well with the pancake and it all went down our throats lickety split. The Ramyun was more addicting than I anticipated. The noodles were great and the candied bacon strip was a nice touch.

It's really busy here and the wait staff are always moving around doing something. They have a positive attitude and are responsive when you get their attention. They are very focused on what catches their eyes like clearing tables but it can take time to get someone's attention since no one was looking up from their tasks. My husband's water was refilled three times while we were there and my water sat empty. Perhaps my cup was a stretch as I sat inside.

I highly recommend coming here as part of your day in Berkeley! I will come back to try other items on their menu!

Spectacular dishes with Korean seasoning. Highly recommended for lovers of Korean cuisine. The only thing I should point out is that they add 20% gratuity, which I suppose is a type of tip, but they put it on your bill before paying, which seemed strange to me since normally you put it when you pay. It seemed strange to me and perhaps something excessive that perhaps I would see how so they can correct it. Other than that the flavor was very good.
