Pretty good venue with good views. The front area is large and almost feels like its own theater. Drinks prices are a bit high and exiting is fairly slow.
Love the tiered seating and standing areas at this theater. Be aware though, if you buy a water bottle and attempt to carry it out after a show you'll be stopped and told to throw it away.
Crushed it at the J Boog show with my daughter, who is eleven yrs old! Perfect night, we will be back! Bros...

The UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall is one of the best venues in the bay area, known for great concerts and indie artists. The venue stays true to its community roots, with decent prices and friendly staff ensuring a clean and pleasant environment. Though seating can be limited and drinks may be expensive, the shows are extremely enjoyable, featuring top-tier curation. The Berkeley Music Group, a nonprofit, revived the venue in 2016 after its 2001 closure, adding to its special charm. Whether for the energy, the dream-like atmosphere, or the well-made drinks, the UC Theatre remains a beloved spot for live music.
