Chicken and Waffles 10/10- the fried chicken here is so good! Normally I’m not a fan of chicken and waffles as a combination, but this was truly incredible. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside but so juicy and tender inside. The seasoning was amazing and the waffle was fluffy with the perfect texture. The way they paired together was actually perfect - the sweetness of the waffle complemented the savory chicken so well. This completely changed my mind about chicken...
I suppose this is some type of fusion. The menu did blend some Asian influence in with western food in a nice new way. When they're not real busy it can get cozy and the service is always on point. One of the best places to dine in downtown Berkeley.
Had a reservation, got a text our table was ready 10min late, then waited 45min to sit down. Food was average but the wait time was nearly an hour even though we had a reservation. If you’re hungry or in a time crunch, I would not recommend eating here.
