“Westbrae Biergarten has been on my list of places to try out for years. Located in the heart of a quiet neighborhood, if you're not actively looking for the place, you definitely wouldn't find it.On the sunny Saturday afternoon that I stopped by, I was pleasantly surprised I was able to find street parking on the same block and also find plenty of seating available around 3:00 p.m. The line to order a beer wasn't terribly long either.I really like the extensive drink options here, with a large list of non-alcohol drinks, non-beer drinks, ciders, wine, hard kombucha, and beers. In addition to offering local beers in cans, there are also 8 rotating beers on tap. There are far too many beer gardens in the Bay that offer nothing besides IPAs so it was refreshing to see a more well-rounded variety of beers on tap here.I really like the atmosphere here and especially appreciate the covered seating area. Dog friendly as well! The beer garden would be an excellent place to get some work done over a beer. There is not only Wi-Fi here but also electrical outlets where you can plug-in.On busier days, I can see the line for the bathroom becoming an issue since there are only two on-site. Also, the beer line could potentially move slowly as well since there are only two people behind the bar serving drinks.Overall, I would definitely stop by again to try out more beers and the food from Brazil Cafe.“
