“I love this place and their beer! I first had one at Alvarado Street Brew in Monterey, CA. They’ve got great sours and fruit forward IPAs for me and beer that tastes like beer for my BF. “First brewery of the day and what an excellent neighborhood brew pub sitting on the corner of Bryant St and Cesar Chavez St. A lot to choose from so we went high ABV with the Hazed & Confused Double Hazy IPA at 9%. We both enjoyed it.“

“I’ve been coming to Southern Pacific Brewing for years, and honestly it is what it is. It’s a huge space, so it’s great if you’ve got a big group or party. I’m not really a beer person myself, but down to hangout here when people pick it and most people seem to enjoy it. It can definitely get loud, so keep that in mind. They do serve food, which is fine - not amazing, not terrible, just okay.

OMG I'm the biggest fan of WCIPA style and the sphere of eternity is up there with Pliny the elder as the best in class. “I absolutely love their garlic noodles! While its definitely heavy with the butter, its comforting, flavorful and delicious. Love the texture of the noodles and how its packed with tons of garlic. I enjoy the salt and pepper wings and the jambalaya fried rice. The crab fries are so delicious and have a nice hint of spice. I've been coming here for years and having their food always leaves me in a happy and satisfied mood.“

“They don’t serve craft beer here anymore. So now it’s basically a just a spacious and mellow cafe. That isn’t a bad thing, but it doesn’t have the same vibes these days. The coffee is so so, but there’s generally space to spread out and chill. Plus you can grab groceries and whatever upstairs.“
