This place is gross. I got a burrito from the food truck that's been parking in Temescal and almost threw it up an hour later. Probably gonna report them to the health dept.

The food served here is not worth the cost. I ordered a chicken salad, it came after half an hour and it felt like the last batch of ingredients were dumped in my plate.

Used to pass by this everyday and thought it was so mid but if you order the 5$ churro ice cream dessert it will change your life actually never buying dessert anywhere else and it smells ok and the bathroom is really clean. 10/10 cafe and its on northsidewhen I first got this dessert I knew I’d never return to my old ways, I was a stupid fool in Plato’s cave unaware of how beautiful the outside world could be. This dessert is the only thing you need if you want to transcend the shackles of everyday life. It’s that amazing

We had the horchata latte, cappuccino and banana bread. They were all quite good but not very distinguished. We enjoyed the service from the staff and the place had a clean bathroom and plenty of places to study at.

Got a super burrito for 17$. Definitely was not worth the 17 and definitely was not super. You’re better off goin to Taco Bell.

This place seems like a wonderful cafe near UC Berkeley. I got chiliquiles, my daughter got a chorizo omelette and her boyfriend got a breakfast burrito. Burrito. Everything was delicious and I would go back here for sure.

There service and ambiance was beyond my expectations. We went for my son's 18th birthday celebration, and boy did they deliver. The food was exceptional, there was 6 of of us, I didn't get to take a picture of all the delicious dishes. The birthday boy was happy with his favorite dish, chilaquiles rojo, and scrambled eggs . My son's girlfriend who attends Berkley, had actually never been there and really enjoyed their chocolate chip pancakes, while her father enjoyed a Chorizo burrito. My daughter enjoyed a plain Belgian waffle, while I did the avocado toast and my husband did the cabanas pancakes. As you can see we all had varied tastes and there was something in the menu for everyone. There is was also a great selection of coffee, soft drinks , agua frescas, and sangria to choose from. What really made it special is that they had a candle and were able to change the music to play "las mañanitas" for our son at the end and we sand him Happy Birthday on his 18th .

I ordered and then they told me that they don’t have the stuff to make my order so that I wanted to refund but they don’t know how to speak English so they gave me two dollars out of cash register and expect me to figure it out on my end.

One quick warning: they say they open at 0730, but when I went at 0730, they said no food orders until 0800. They need to do a better job of advertising that. The food itself was ok. Nothing spectacular.

Finally. For years I have been wandering earth to find the chimichanga that could stand up to its insides. Something that wasn't a loaf of grease. Something that wasn't a log of sog. And something fulfilling and hearty. This corner spot nails it. This chimi is large, in charge and not shy about its will to fill. The fry was perfect! I got chicken. Great balance of rice, cheese, beans and meat. I was not left for want. Also, people were gettin after plates of tacos al pastor on their cart outside that looked yummo AND don't sleep on the cucumber lime agua fresca. It's the spa for your mouth after you may or may not have eaten an entire chimichanga. This place isn't your hot date night digs and very much screams college vibe, but I couldn't be bothered because my focus was full steam on my fried burrito beast.
