The Chef Burger
A staple among the chefs. Over 9oz of choice beef! Chargrilled ground brisket & short rib burger (6.5oz), served on a toasted brioche bun with 3oz house smoked tri tip steak, swiss cheese, pepperoncini, onion marmalade, onions & housemade Thousand Island aioli. Served with a mixed green salad or fries.
Mojo Pork Plate
We sear, then braise the pork in fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, Spanish sherry, fresh garlic and herbs. Served with coconut black beans, fried cabbage rice, fried plantains and giardiniera!

Veryyyy good meal! I got the Bahn Mi burger and it was so stacked wih hunks of meat i could barely get my mouh around it! 20$ may seem like a lot for a burger but they ALL come with a healthy order of perfectly crispy frys (or salad) so that makes em in the norm for this area. My only gripe was since it is ALL outdoor seating (and no restroom) i had a yellow jacket that would fight me for my food...but i still won ;)

Nice little restaurant in the cut , big food coming across the window! Take your time to find this little gem just off San Pablo in Berkeley. I had a tri-tip sandwich, it was so big I literally needed a cherry picker to get it out of the box. Tri-tip with thinly sliced seasoned with salt and perfect smoke , super tender and bathed in coleslaw . French fries were so amazing everybody at the table just helped themselves. You definitely want to get another order of those if you're...

Went here for a staff event. Amazing chicken and waffles, and the mac and cheese was really solid. Nice seating area and staff, many of us plan to come back. Only downside is no public bathroom, but they're pretty close to Berkeley Bowl so be aware of that during your visit. I'd definitely recommend the chicken and the mac!
