Berkeley family here, so happy they went out of their way to make it a family friendly environment, great for kids and adults alike. Fan of the OG Cellarmaker in SF, but also a big fan of this new location.
I consider myself a lifetime Cellarmaker fan. My wife and I had our first date back in the first couple months of OG location being open in SOMA and we've been big followers since. The Berkeley location carries on the legacy of a great atmosphere, incredible beers, sublime music with the welcome addition of delicious food and a family friendly vibe. If you're looking for the best breweries in the Bay you'd better put this on your list.

Tucked away a bit off the beaten path in Southwest Berkeley, Cellarmaker is one of the gems of Bay Area brewing. IPAs are a specialty here and they are all interesting and consistently delicious, no matter what is on tap. Other great options include the Coffee & Cigarettes porter, plus really interesting barrel aged and sour beers from the Rare Barrel.
