I was a huge fan of Delirama, my absolute favorite sandwich was the Delirama Mama, so I was sad to hear the owner was going to pivot in a new direction. I prefer take out to dining in, so I waited for that to be an option, and put my order in today. I got a fried chicken sandwich and the pastrami Reuben, both with chips. The menu says a small salad is served with the sandwiches.The fried chicken sandwich is HUGE and delicious. I prefer my fried chicken to be a little on the dark...
Delirama is delicious! When I found out they make their own pastrami - I had to go. Prob the best pastrami in the area in my opinion. I got the 5oz reg“OG”. Well seasoned, delicious and filling. The clarified butter def shines through the flavorful bread they make themselves as well! I hate when places just throw flavorless “coleslaw” on sandwiches/ but here it’s delicious and an accompaniment. This place does “no greeter” well. There are amusing signs everywhere...
Wow wow wow! What a great pastrami sandwich! Between 4 people, we ordered 1 regular OG pastrami and 1 reuben, both with a side of the brisket vegetable soup. One sandwich is good for sharing between 2. The brisket and vegetable soups were piping hot and so flavorful. The sandwiches, my gosh, I don't think I've ever had such a good sandwich in my life. The pastrami was tender and juicy, and the bread was soft and well toasted at the same time. Just perfect.
