Delicious coffee with one of the best smoked salmon bagels I've ever tried. Also has a really cozy vibe in general.

I wish there were more stars to rate this place!!
I have been coming for years here, the whole staff is a gem ✨kind, hardworking people and excellent cooks and baristas.
The outdoor seating is lovely, surrounded by sage plants and covered by trees.
This place should honestly raise their prices, although I love a spot where I can get a breakfast burrito and a coffee cup under $10, I would rather the staff having a bump in wages and pay $12! Still affordable for the area!
Shoutout to Ms Sandra and Jesús who make delicious and fresh food, Mr Alvaro and Ernesto at the bar ???? this place is beautiful and always clean, and what makes it fantastic, is their staff ?

My cappuccino was very good. The seating here is mainly outside, and during a Berkeley "summer" (overcast skies), it was chilly to sit outside. Perhaps heat lamps are in order?

The Latino guy at the counter does not like their Spanish speaking costumers, he’s always rude to them.

It has a very pleasant outside patio. A great place to have conversations with friends with coffee and pastries.
It's a good place, it just needs more cleaning on the tables and seats. A sweep wouldn't hurt, even removing the cobwebs would be great

Great spot to hang out a while outside (even in a drizzle) with reasonably priced drip coffee. Bike parking across the street. Also has wifi so you can get some work done
Delicious pastries, pleasant terrace, quick and friendly service.

Great outdoor seating under mature tree cover. Lovely staff, mostly. Food ok. Coffee is terrible. Indoors seating and atmosphere is iffy.Avoid Friday lunchtime. Taken over by lovely hoards of school kids. They need all the space. Or you can sit and watch with hearing aid turned down. There's lots of older people groups other times: cyclists, gossipers, soccer players and an irritating musical couple. Can't figure out if dogs are allowed outside or not. There's lots of "no-dog" signs and lots of dogs. Don't bother asking the staff, they don't know either.Best part is hopping over to Monterey Market afterwards.Oh, and careful walking around the African crafts on the sidewalk. Got shouted at when my dog got too close.
