Asaka Sushi & Bar Reviews
Cute location in Northbrae, friendly and family oriented location. Sometimes you're lucky and find parking in front, don't park at the grocery store across the street and walk over. It was fine. We enjoyed some dishes and some were just ok. Avoid the soft shell crab appetizer. The miso soup wasn’t worth it. The nigiri was good

The atmosphere is chill with good music, and the service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located next to a fish market, which is a good sign of the freshness of their ingredients. The quality of the food is excellent, making it a great choice for sushi lovers. The fish for sushi is exceptionally fresh. The interior is clean. Asaka is a friendly neighborhood sushi bar and Japanese restaurant. The service is very good and food is served quickly. The restaurant is decorated nicely and has a charming feel to it. The tempura was the star. The California rolls were good. The spicy tuna roll was tasty enough. The sashimi and nigiri were very fresh and decently portioned. The tofu agedashi is fantastic, fried udon with seafood is great. The fish is fresh and the portions are fair. It is worth coming to from farther away.
