Food was good but a little bland (particularly falafel) and overpriced. This place is super trendy right now.. you see lots of people walking around with their takeout bags. Lunch only. Service was quick, which was nice.
I had heard great things about Fava and their ex Chez Panisse chefs. I got to try it for the first time. It was even better than I thought it would be. I got the lamb sandwich (with cabbage, yogurt sauce, and fresh herbs like Persian sabzi, in a lavash like wrap that they make themselves.) I also got some lentil and kale soup with yogurt. So yummy. It took me back home to Iran. So good!
Love the food. Please include forks etc w 2 go food. Over here eating 2 egg bowls w our fingers.
