Great team, smooth operations, and the good vibes translate into exceptional food with plenty of fresh greens and the most sophisticated, not at all fatty, falafels by the Bay! How do they make so much great food in such a small space? When do they open a full size restaurant? I will be there.
FAVA is so FRESH —easily the best lunch spot in Berkeley! I usually get the salmon plate, which is both nourishing and satisfying, keeping me full for hours. You can’t go wrong with the falafel, chocolate chip cookies, or green juice either!

The chai ?!?!?
This was probably one of the worst places I’ve been to in a while for that price point I would expect a more evenly balanced fritter and chai.
This was so disappointing not to mention the hummus was also lacking.
