Quite an eclectic menu of imaginative, well-designed food choices. Plus an extensive set of beverage offerings. I opted for the bean/beet "fritter" (more like a thick meaty slice of "meat"loaf), sitting on flavorful romesco sauce with an egg layer cooked to order, and dexoratwd with colorful ribbons of carrot shavings. Gorgeous and delicious! Informed and friendly wait service. We sat in the "outdoor" sheltered, roofed, & heated area full of plants....
Food was great as usual but even though we sat down at 7, it was clear they were trying to move everyone out of there. My silverware was cleared when I still had half of my entree to finish. Felt very rushed and that we were an inconvenience to them even though there was still 45 minutes before they closed at 8:30
It's a nice vibe for sure, but the service and food weren't great this time, on our third visit. Our server was attentive, but impersonal so we kind of just felt like a number. The crudo was great, but that's just raw fish so it's hard to mess up. The focaccia was also great, but is so overpriced for what you get and the gnocchi with beef short rib ragu was good but the gnocchi were tiny and completely lost in the delicious ragu. We got the sundae for dessert...
