This is a Japanese hibachi restaurant in the style made famous by Benihana. The quality of the food was very good and the cook was skilled and entertaining. The restaurant itself seems dated and the servers who took our orders and delivered appetizers seemed a bit institutional, but otherwise it was a very enjoyable experience. The price was quite reasonable.
Brought my wife and our family out for their birthday dinner. My 12 year old got the shrimp and lobster, my 17 year aged sirloin, my wife had the lobster and filet, and I had the wagyu and shrimp. Food was incredible, even my 12 year cleaned his plate! Service was impeccable! The show was very entertaining and everyone was flat out kind. Atmosphere is rich and inviting. I loved it.
I've been in Richmond for 10 years and passed this restaurant on my way to the Marina many times. Never knew it was there! I am ashamed. This was the best experience I've had in a long time. The food was amazing! Better than Benihana's to me! The food was so flavorful and the staff were perfect! Thank you for making my birthday dinner very memorable .
