This review is about the Berkeley location. I don't recommend this restaurant if you are a human being. Apparently, they only believe their employees have bodily functions. I had to pee really bad and no exception...bathroom is only for EMPLOYEES. Even though I was eating at the restaurant! I used to love Ike's, now I'm likely never to eat here again. The sandwich was kinda soggy anyway.

They frequently give you the wrong order. Not just a forgotten ingredient, but a totally different sandwich. I get mistakes happen, but it wouldn't be so frustrating if I actually got a refund when it happens. I've used their website contact form before and just got ignored.Make sure you ask for a receipt so you can at least attempt to get a refund, and open the sandwich to check it before you leave.

TLDR: Ordered a simple Jim Rome.1st attempt: added surprise pickles2nd attempt: no turkey3rd attempt: no cheese, no avocadoI give up.Ordered a Jim Rome from their website with lettuce, tomato, and onion.It was delivered and made with pickles. I called the store and explained the situation. They gave me a refund which was awesome.I proceeded to order another sandwich on their website. The exact same thing. Once delivered, I found it was made without turkey....I got in my car and drove to the store and spoke with the same employee, I think, since there were only 2 working. He was shocked that turkey was not included and offered to remake the sandwich a 3rd time. I gave him both receipts with the same order and received the correct sandwich. I did bring back both mistakes and asked him if they could give it to someone. He said u could leave it and they'll give it to some homeless people at the end of the night. I was glad to hear the food was not going to waste.My issue boils down to ordering delivery for the convenience. After 2 attempts of delivery, I still had to drive down to the store and have them make the sandwich a 3rd time. I get that mistakes happen, but come on, twice in a row with the same sandwich and customer.It doesn't end there. I got home and went to eat the third attempt of my sandwich. No cheese. No avocado.I'm done. Should I tempt fate and ask for a 4th remake? At this point it's a lost cause.

Think of a Subway but better quality + variety.I came here for an early lunch with some friends and was blown away at the menu options. I wasn't too hungry, so I opted for a side of onion rings. They were alright, nothing super special. The sandwiches looked massive, and all my friends commented on the quality of the bread. Seems like a good deal, will have to stop by again sometime!

I came in just to order a sandwich, and not one that appeared on the order wall. I ordered a turkey with bacon on a French roll, and it was good. Like it was just made, which it was. It was my first time actually visiting an Ike's, and the sandwich made the visit worthwhile.
Sandwiches are great but love is nowhere to be found in employees with a bad attitude. Starting with the bathroom that was declared out of order as they couldn't be bothered looking for the key.

Amazing sandwiches! Wait is not too long. I recommend sticking to the favorite sandwiches marked on the menu.I got the Madison Bumgarner and I would say everything was portioned well. Tasted good too!

The sandwich was just ok to me. The bread was really thick especially in ratio to the lunch meat and toppings. So, mostly what I tasted was the bread. The bread was not stale but that is kind of the texture it gave to me. It was definitely huge and I could only eat half of it. They did make the sandwich quickly. There was street parking but it was tight.
