A hidden gem along the 18 bus route, this is the perfect spot to grab a morning coffee on the way to the BART. Their salted vanilla vegan donuts are slammin'-crisp on the outside, soft in the middle. Love that their coffees are so well-balanced they can be enjoyed without cream or sugar, but if you like things on the sweeter side the Uncle Iroh is worth a try-it's like a coffee milkshake had a baby with an Italian soda!
Rhetoric Coffee has delicious and strong brews! Had them during the morning shift at Arthur Mac's. Also made me and my crew feel safe from the jump, their staff is the most inclusive and understanding.

Great local coffee. I enjoyed their coffee when they pop up at the my local farmer's market in Castro Valley every Saturday. Taste fresh and gets me through my farmer's market shopping with my two toddlers in tow. Met the owner, James and he was super friendly.
