I was excited to try this place out because of its healthier options compared to McDonald’s. I ordered the beef n lamb gyro. The gentleman taking my order was tentative and whipped up my food quickly. All of the sides are a la carte … meaning you pay extra for it. So the only thing that came with my wrap was a tiny salad. The food was tasty yet nothing stood out to me. It was the average of a majority of the Mediterranean restaurants I’ve patronized. Overall, when you’re hungry and want this genre of food it gets the job done.

Delicious kabab plates with a lovely showcase of desserts. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and their lamb is well worth it.
They don't have much seating space (2 2-person tables) and a restroom that's well-maintained.
All the meals are served in to go containers with fast preparation!

The service was nice, but the food was disappointing. The chicken meat was expired, the taste was terrible which annoyed me and my coworkers all day. They should focus on providing fresh meat and ensure food safety standards are met.

We just ate at King of Kabob for the first time today and we'll definitely be back. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap, falafel wrap, shawarma plate, chicken melt wrap, and a side of 6 falafel. All were tasty and portions were surprisingly generous, especially considering how cheap the prices were. We ordered online and food was ready in 20 minutes. Staff were very friendly. We peeked at the outdoor patio and it looked like a nice spot to eat in dry weather, but it was raining that day so everything was wet. We could have eaten at one of 2 indoor tables, but we choose to get carry out. This will be added to our list of go-to eateries in Berkeley. Very happy to have finally discovered this place. Check it out!
