It is a baker’s shop where they are kind enough to let us step into their world and get some of the freshest and most amazing assortment of what the best local ingredients can make. Everything is sinfully delicious, both the savory and the sweet, and they have good flourless/gluten free options as well. My favorite is always the chocolate almond croissant, though I had a leek and gruyere croissant this time that had me wanting more! The double chocolate cookie is DELICIOUS!!
Cozy authentic bakery tucked in a corner of the building. The owner was extremely enthusiastic and really took time to explain the pastries. I got a Meyer lemon danish that was really good- the filling was a bit cream cheese and lemony and it was not too sweet at all! It balanced perfectly with the flakey buttery pastry. Will definitely come again, loved the service!!

Beautiful little bakery. We loved the little custard tart, tasted like a slightly sweeter Portuguese egg tart with really flaky pastry. Kougin Amann was slightly drier/breadier than other versions that I’ve had, but my toddler really liked it. All the pastries looked delightful.

Pastries are very light and airy not only sweet. The lady who helped us was also very nice to me. She said that there would be new batch if I could wait for a couple of minutes and she handed me out freshly baked pastries

Easily THE BEST bakery in the Bay Area. Nothing compares to its amanns and those big round savory and sweet croques are mouthwatering and simply amazing.
I wanted to try this place for a while due to the reviews and I finally remembered when they opened and to my surprise, I was unimpressed. I ordered several pastries to try and all tasted like it was made yesterday, not fresh. Maybe I thought I went on a bad day, but after eating my 3rd pastry and having the same thought, unlikely. Also, the cashier charged me extra when I brought it her attention. It was a bit complicated to get a refund on the card so they gave the difference in cash. They should have a proper register instead of trying to calculate in their heads of what people ordered.

Was so hyped for this place but the most disappointing pastry we’ve ever gotten… the crust was not flakey at all, but soggy and dense. The flavor of the pistachio danish was just ok. Also tried the coconut danish and had the same crust. Not sure what all the hype is about?

The kouign amann just felt a bit too bread-y to me. Usually I like it with more layers like a croissant. Got a chocolate croissant, mango, and Thai coco as well. Service was fast. Still had a ton of selection at 11am on Saturday.

It's a small bakery, with a good selection of treats, that are very decently priced. Most items where $5-6. You can afford to taste a lot of things
