Browsing through the farmers market yesterday and came upon their stand. The man was incredibly kind and willing to answer my questions about ingredients (food allergy concerns). Ended up with two loaves of country and have been munching on it last night and this morning. Was raised in the east Bay Area and moved to the Salt Lake valley Utah quite a while ago. This bread is one of a kind. Many wonderful breads are available in the Bay Area, but Morell's something you should not miss--and now, it is the bread I hope to buy when I run out. Beautiful bread, thank you for sharing it with us.

I plan my Wednesday morning around being able to go to Morell's and pick up at least two loaves to get me through the week. Their sesame loaf is phenomenally sesame-y, with a crumb that's both tender and robust. I'm also a huge fan of their baguette (they call it a tordu) and toasted oat porridge loaf which has a level of moistness that keeps it feeling fresh for days. The staff are also lovely!
