A gem in the super varied Oakland food scene. Places like these make up for the variety of the Oakland's rich restaurant scene. We tried the orange marmalade omelette with great skepticism only to find it extremely delicious. And one of the best ratatouille we have had. And we were expecting a fat cheque since it looks and serves like an upscale restaurant but it was way easy on the wallet than most South Bay restaurants. A great catch with wonderful service.
Great local warm spot, not sure if they have a slow day or hour. ( good for them) Always seems to be packed. European style in terms of small space and to have a nice experience you better be ok with bumping to people or having tables close to each other.
Food is amazing, from breakfast to 🥗 salads and soup
Great Great food! Staff fast paced and in production mode (makes sense).

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. The wait for breakfast is long, so it's good to head to Pegasus books down the street to waste a little time while you're waiting. The service is excellent. The wait staff have always treated us well and are friendly. My personal favorite are the home fries with big chunks of garlic. Oh, and I love the herbed roasted tomatoes. Yummmmmmmm
