Paid for chicken katsu curry and they didn’t give us the curry. We came in for takeout towards closing at 7:50, so I understand that’s partially on us, but very disappointed with how dry the chicken was and that they didn’t give the correct order even when we tipped. The potato croquet was very good.

actually like. microwaved weird tasting not good at all
The food is really good and tasty. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. They provided kids cutlery and kids drinks and were so kind and accommodating to us. We had a great lunch time because of their service. Really appreciate them and highly recommend them!!

Been here like two times and it’s a pretty enjoyable casual curry place. I last got the Chicken Karaage curry ramen and it was pretty good! I definitely recommend particularly if you’re tired of standard curry and rice. Our waiter was so nice and gave us some free miso soup to take home too!

Enjoyed their curry and Hot sake. It is a small restaurant with one server working. The server was friendly, and nice. Overall, good experience.
Parking: It located in front of street nearby UC berkeley campus. You have to street park.

I’m so torn on this place. It’s the first Japanese curry I’ve ever eaten. In 2015 it’s was outstanding. Now 9 years later inconsistency is the problem. Sometimes it’s amazing 6/5 and others just okay 3/5. Sometimes the strong curry scents, flavor and spice is perfect and others it’s watered down.

Favorite Japanese curry restaurant in the Bay Area (so far). It reminded me of the curry I had in Japan. The depth of flavor is unmatched. My omelet was overcooked, but I'll overlook it for more curry.

Really liked this curry shop. Curry was super good, tasty very good food to have during cold weather. Had a rice plate and noodle soup. They also offered drawing paper while we wait for our food then had some drawings got hung up in the shop. Super cute decor method for the shop.

overprice the amount of food is very little
The pork katsu curry was great. How this was fried was on point - similar as I had one in Japan. However, my friend who ordered unagidon (eel), egg not fully cooked, smelled too much fish’s smell which felt like old fish. It’s on Special menu but we should’ve got only curry here…I am down to go for pork katsu curty again. There are 4-5 fries in the dinning area I wish owner do something about it? Thank you!

The curry is bland, lack of spice flavors. Veggies taste so weird.
