Peets just isn’t what it used to be.
I ordered a flat white in a ceramic cup- I got a flat white in a paper cup, I asked for a new serving in a ceramic cup, the barista (who said “well, they didn’t tell me”) dumped it into a ceramic cup and handed it back. I said, “there’s no foam on top at all”, she said, “well there’s hardly any foam in a flat white anyway.so i don’t need to make a new one.” Oh well, the New Peets!

I walk past this coffee store every week as I head to some of my favorite food stores. This time I stopped in for a latte and to rest after some strenuous food shopping. It was a good break and I could see why this place is so popular.

My only issue is how SLOW the service is. My *mobile order is always a cold brew (which is already made!), but I always have to wait a long time…even if there’s no one in line & I’m watching/listening to 2-3 people chitchat (while one person is making drinks). All they have to do is pour my drink so I can be on my way since they don’t have to “make” my drink!...
