Can’t decide between egg rolls or spring rolls? Enter the Cha Gio Cuon…egg roll in spring roll. GENIUS! My companions had the chicken soup and fish banh mi, both also excellent. Their broth is super flavorful and the price is right. Owner and crew are very attentive.
The restaurant is beautiful with modern murals of Bay Area life, but eating near sundown was quite unpleasant in almost all tables due to west facing sun. Simple drapes/blinds would help.

I have one slight gripe - they cut their noodles shorter, and I like mine long. But it doesn't away from how tasty and satisfying everything I've had here is.

No tendon, no tripe. The beef slices were overcooked. The broth was good, maybe a little sweet, but without a good beef combo I won't come back.

Had dinner here with my cool daughter who loves Pho. She had chicken Pho and I had veggie pho. Totally vegan for the veggie pho. I also got a tofu spring roll and enjoyed it but could not eat much because she downed it all first.

Great new Vietnamese place off Gilman and San Pablo. Very beautiful paintings in the shop. Huge portions. Family friendly. Fast service. Pho was delicious, not too hot, and had loads of noodles and savory broth. Major bonus points for using a stoneware bowl and not having the hot soup in a plastic bowls with plastic utensils. Spring rolls are fresh and filling. Bhan mi is exceptional value, huge with loads of toppings, soft bread, and tasty protein. We will absolutely be back!

Healthy and fresh food! The banh mi and rice bowls both come with a healthy serving of fresh veggies. Fast and delicious, generous portions

I haven't been to the San Pablo location yet, but I have been fortunate enough to have had a Banh Mi from a catering order picked up from the San Pablo location and let me tell you... PHOSHO DOUGH DOES NOT MISS. Everything I have had from here has been fantastic (Pork Banh Mi ❤️, fried spring rolls wrapped in fresh rolls, pho, pork vermicelli etc.) and I will continue coming to phosho dough on an at least weekly basis for as long as I live in the East Bay. These restaurants are fantastic and everyone who works there is super friendly and driven to deliver the best quality of food possible. Phosho Dough is my favorite spot to eat at and I implore everyone who reads this review to try it out (specifically the pork banh mi-- definitely in my top 5 favorite things to eat EVER). Also shout-out to Richard! He is super friendly and we always look forward to seeing him when we dine in or pick up.

When I lived in Berkeley I’d visit their Telegraph shop so when they opened on San Pablo I got excited as I moved to El Cerrito. I usually take out their yummy sandwich and today I ordered a chicken sandwich for my nephew. He’s a good eater and was hungry but could only eat half. I’ve eaten in with friends who thoroughly enjoyed the beef soup and I had the vermicelli bowl. Portions are very generous.

Got the beef slice and beef ball pho, top notch. Meat was fresh and well cooked, broth didnt need anything more

Very friendly staff, indoor decorations were pretty (painted scenes of the night sky with outlines of bamboo and homes)

10/10 would eat here again!
