I have been coming here for maybe 35 years? Always the same great, fresh products, stellar fish counter selection and service, and cool items like sake kasu, frozen ramen broth concentrate, and a big selection of Hawaiian goods!
The best deal on sushi you will ever get in your life. The toro here is so fresh and tender. I go straight to the back, grab a couple of boxes and slap them down on the counter, smile a bit at the guy behind the counter and he gets straight to work putting together a lil custom plate for me. Fresh fish, top-notch sushi trays, great frozen selection (love the potstickers) and the best saké selection in East Bay, including ginjo and daiginjo. Not cheap but great place for when you want to treat youself.
