I stopped by Poke Bar near the Berkeley campus for lunch and had an awesome experience! I used the Paper Form to order and build my own bowl, which was super easy and fun to customize. The tuna was incredibly fresh, like it was just caught that morning, and the portion sizes were generous—definitely worth the price. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the vibe was perfect for a quick, healthy meal between classes. Highly recommend!
I've enjoyed getting lunch here once a week for a few years. I was disappointed to see the arrival of touchscreen ordering recently, and even more disappointed to see it go to touchscreen only in tandem with higher prices today. The first time, I saw a customer spend several minutes making their order, nearly the entire time it took me to fill out a paper form and have my bowl prepared; a large line formed behind them. I ate very delicious and the large bowl has enough food, I was full ? It is an ideal place to eat healthy and fast, an ideal environment for students. There are complete dishes or you can design your own bowl with the ingredients you like the most.
