I grew up in KTown Los Angeles this spot in Berkeley reminds me how lucky I was to learn about how excellent Korean food is. We love going here. Try it all. I introduced my Wife and kids to Korean food now they Love it too. For decades. Amazing staff too.

I used to go to this place because it was almost the only Korean restaurant in Berkeley when I first came here. But I don’t go anymore as of 2026. Their food isn’t better than that of the newer Korean places, and it’s more expensive.

I was craving some Korean tofu soup and decided to try this place. I had their combination tofu soup which came with beef, squid, clam and shrimp. It also came with a bowl of rice. The flavor was alright but nothing memorable.

All I could remember was that when we were there, a party of around 6 people talking extremely loud which made our dining experience miserable and unpleasant. We ended up eating as quickly as possible so we could get out of here.
