This place is surprisingly great! Really beautiful interior. There is an indoor fire-pit, beautiful outdoor space. The drinks are good beer selection is good. My wife and I enjoy grabbing drinks here on our date nights when we are in downtown Berkeley. It has a lot of college kids because of where its located. Only issue I have is the bathrooms are not always as clean as they could be and the shuffleboard table is not maintained so the pucks definitely slant.

The 2 girls working at the bar are rude and ignored me as I was waiting to get my order. First time here and definitely my last. I heard other staff say they were recently hired and need to look into getting other/better bartenders.

I’ve been coming here almost 5 years now as a student. I don’t know what happened, but this place used to be my favorite place to grab a drink and have a good time with friends. The current staff is extremely rude, and does not pay attention to patrons at the bar. There have been plenty of situations recently where I’d sit at the bar order something, and be completely ignored. The current staff at the bar is completely incompetent. They stare at me and don’t even bother to come over and take my order while they take the order of everyone around me. Furthermore, they are much more rude and condescending than when I used to come here in the past. The quality of this place went really downhill. They literally stand around and talk more often than check on the patrons of the bar. I am writing this review while I am sitting at the bar waiting for someone to take my order while they take orders from everyone else around me. Great establishment ruined completely by terrible bar staff. It’s been 15 minutes and they’ve taken the order of everyone around me expect mine. This is probably the last time I’ll be coming here, which is unfortunate because I’ve been an avid supporter of this place. Please avoid coming here for now. The staff sucks.
