This was my first time having RareTea, and to me, it was just alright. There’s nothing too special about it in comparison to other boba places, at least to me. They had a few fruit teas, but I was pretty disappointed they didn’t have any strawberry fruit teas. In general, their selection was a bit limited. They had some other strawberry drink that was more like a smoothie, with a lot of blended strawberries in it. I ordered that with boba, and it was just okay. I’m not sure...
Gotta say, it is an alright tea place mostly. But one of the past times I was here I ordered a Thai tea boba latte, and there was no sweetener in it. No big deal, I just brought it up to the girl at the register. She wasn't very friendly and acted like I was crazy and said if she made it again it would taste the same, but I made it clear there was zero sweetener in it. Thankfully, the manager accepted my request and made it again, with the issue fixed. Service among some...
They have a lot of choices and you can mix and match as you please. You walk in and order on the order pad. You put together your drink piece by piece - providing a lot of possible combinations. You then pay and wait for your drink to be made - which happens rather quickly. The end result is pretty good! Note: There is plenty of seating inside.
