The coffee is so bad. It’s huge but it tastes like hotel coffee.

Quite disappointed with my experience here, the coffee was subpar and the service was upsetting. Less than an hour before closing, a worker commented that one of the members at our table did not order anything and threatened to kick this person out despite the fact that there were multiple tables without orders. Our table was not causing any disruptions and, while I do not like to make such assertions, I did notice that ours was the only table which was primarily Hispanic. I would not recommend going to this business again, especially with hints of racial profiling.

this place makes me want to kill myself. The vibes are terrible, music is terrible, can't study here, the art on the wall is extremely ugly. They should replace this with something better. Please do not go here ....

Ordered an oat milk latte and it tasted awful. I don’t know how they made it but it was shockingly sweet for a latte. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. If you’re a serious coffee drinker avoid this place.

Food and drinks are okay, but the vibe is awful. The employees interrogate you, come up to you if you use the Wi-Fi and aren’t actively drinking a drink (even if you bought one and finished it already), and just not a place I want to go to. Stay

Quick Summary:- Lots of seats, tables, couches, and even the cool bar table and stool furniture- Peaceful ambience- Coffee is not sour- Bathroom is available but requires a passcodeFor years, many many years, I wanted to go and have coffee here but time and I never met. Finally, the moment arrived and we were walking on this street and feeling like taking a break and drink coffee.Inside, the cafe is spacious with dozens of places to sit down. The cups were swiftly cleared off tables and wiped clean for anyone new to use next, so there were no seat congestion. That day was warm, so normally I would order a hot cup of coffee, but I was only looking at the iced menu at that point. The staff made eye contact and he helped me guide through the different special coffee menus that were listed on the board behind him. I liked the kiss mark theme across the cafe and how it translates to coffee strength. I picked the iced coffee with mint, and we took our seats near the window. After some time the staff arrived with the coffee. An extra sweet touch, was that the staff gave each one of us a Kiss chocolate. Super thoughtful, and boosted my fondness to this cafe. Updated plans to visit here more often and try their other coffees, and maybe buy home some coffee beans.

A very busy cafe with a good ambiance and music playing. Unfortunately, the iced matcha was gross. Tasted like dirt. The iced chai was watered down and barely had any flavor. The pumpkin loaf was delicious though. Staff got our order wrong first but fixed it instantly for us. Overall it is over rated and there's better coffee across the street

Super cute cafe! I stopped here for my morning coffee when I was in Berkeley last month. I got the Redemption drink which has cookie butter. It's a dulce de leche coffee drink that comes with a cookie on top! The drink was tasty! In addition to coffee, they also offer sandwiches on their menu. A lot of students come to work at this cafe. I wish this cafe existed when I was a student at Cal.

They only have avocado option and a vegan empanada as the vegan option - nothing else - but the avo toast delicious. I've taken to coming here a couple of times a week just for their avo toast.

If I could give zero stars I would. I got two drinks and a bagel here while working across the street during the Sunday street market. I came back in an hour later intending to use the bathroom and then by an almond croissant but the owner or manager came up to me and started yelling and cussing at me accusing me of "using someone else's cup" to use their bathroom?? Dude- like who would even do that? And to get in a customers face and start yelling and swearing at them over using the bathroom? I understand needing to be firm about people coming and using your bathroom especially on a street like telegraph, but you should never storm up to a customer in such an aggressive manner and start cursing at them and hurtling accusations. Also This place is a rip off of Philz so I'd recommend going there anyway. Or Peet's across the street.Don't go here- there are way better business that have actually been in Berkeley a lot longer than this place that actually respect their customers.

Everything at Romeo's is out of this world! I don't know which sandwich and juice are my favorite but my top three are:Grub1. Good Girl Gonr Bad2. Seduced in Seconds (the mayo)3. Midnight to MysteryDrank:1. Sin By Chance2. Aphrodisiac3. Laugh to InsanityAnd in that order. Whatever you choose, just eat!

Nice place to sit back and enjoy a bevy. the peanut butter cookie was amazing warmed up. The service was great! However my club sandwhich was pretty disappointing. litterally one slice per meat, and all ingredients were low quality and not fresh... so maybe just don't get a sandwhich.
