Limited menu executed very well. Service was great although a little slow. Only real downside is that on a Friday night it is very loud in there. Hard to hear each other which was a bummer.
My book club decided to meet in the back room at roses. It was perfect. The food is great, the cocktails are delicious, and it was a nice comfortable space for us to chat. We will be back!
Inventive cocktails and a great neighborhood vibe. Walkable from Ashby BART. Probably suitable for a date if you’re looking for low-key and understated, but definitely not a dive.
