A great find for Ethiopian cuisine in the East Bay. And offering 100% teff injera makes it a great gluten free option. Diners can sit at either conventional tables or a tradtional table. The stylish decor helps lend a layer of authenticity.
It can be very warm inside due to lack of AC; ceiling fans help to pull in outside air when the temperature drops.
The food is so incredibly delicious and made with fresh ingredients. We had beef samosas, Veggie combo, doro tibs, and beef kitfo, all which were amazing and I highly recommend mixing and matching bites together with injera! Our server Tina was really sweet and hospitable. Be sure to end your meal with the Ethiopian coffee!!
