This place was on my must-try list, and it didn’t disappoint! Chef Elmy and his team are incredibly courteous — he even offered me a warm bowl of soup while taking my order. His truck proudly says “no processed food,” and he truly stands by it. The gyro meat was flavorful, the sides were amazing (especially the roasted eggplant), and everything tasted fresh and homemade.

The truck’s motto, “The Art of Cooking,” really shines through his food. Chef Elmy may be straightforward, but he’s passionate and wants you to truly enjoy his world of flavors. Highly recommend stopping by!

Chef Elmy, Mia and Javi had everyone at the food truck smiling and giggling. Delicious, Hot brothy mushroom soup, before you even order! Such wonderful people; such out of this world food!! So so so good. They really take care of you here! True artists who bring delight to everyone who stumbles upon them at this tucked away spot.

I don’t even know where to begin. The whole experience was amazing. This is the best roach coach like experience I’ve ever had! The food was fabulous, the service was out of this world, and the location is peaceful and quiet! 10/10 recommend!

I find myself coming back to this unassuming food truck time and again. Extremely chill owner. I can't think of other places that beat the quality or price or the sheer quantity of food they feed you. 10/10. Its well prepared and well served. They seem loved by all the regulars when I came in first. Now I can see why. 100% recommend.

I had been wanting to try this place for years. It was as good as I had hoped. The portions were large, reasonably priced and most importantly flavorful. Everything seems to be made fresh and the owner and staff were extremely personable. I can’t wait to go back to try more.

A unique GEM! Welcomed with soup and love!
The chicken and gyro are too good to be true.
Sides were so interesting and lovely! The brown mush is fava beans and a staple in Egyptian cuisine! How this guy made it so interesting and added a fried Okra ball on top is mind-blowing! The other salad, falafel, pickles were also spectacular!
I think sides change frequently but if you find the Okra ball just get 10!
Needless to say anything about the portions! That’s the only meal we had that day and it was a protein overload with so much goodness so didn’t need another

FANTASTIC!!! I rarely leave positive reviews lmao but this food truck is out of this world :)) The chef gives you a bowl of free soup which is so generous and then gives huge portions of delicious food with water included :) The food is veryyy fresh and flavorful and everything on the plate, even the sides, are well seasoned and yummy. We had the shrimp and gyro 😋😋😋

The owner is an extremely kind person who is passionate and loves to feed you! He made everyone’s meals a little different and unique and even gave us free okra at the end. Finish your plate or else!

Apparently he’s mostly at this west Berkeley location on Thursdays and Fridays, sometimes Wednesdays, and he’s at another location on the weekends
