It's been a long time since I've been to Skates. Its interior beauty and outside views of the bay have not changed. I had a client lunch and everyone enjoyed the service and the ambiance. My only complaint was my entree. I ordered Cesar Salad with prawns. If I were not hosting clients, I would have returned my dish (I very rarely return food to the kitchen). Love the views, server was exceptional! Food was average. Crab/artichoke delicious. Bibb/ blu cheese salad was watery. Fish/chips average. Too much breading and small amount of fish. Good place to meet family and friends but do not expect gourmet food!

My husband and I spent Valentines Day at Skate on the Bay when we arrived i was excited to dine in the restaurant as I hadn't been there since pre pandemic. Note as we were walking to our table I noticed alot of open sitting. When we arrived to our table I noticed another couple already sitting there I was in shocked.
