they're closed for construction, they have no number to see if they'll be open any time soon and all the workers inside ignored my friends questions. terrible...

Another tasty ramen spot in the bay area! The interior of this restaurant has plenty of seating both downstairs and more seating upstairs and has a modern japanese vibe to it. Love their wall decor. Ordering is simple - just scan the QR code and order online. They have options where you can pick what kind of noodles you want which is nice. Also an option to add extra toppings, so we both added on an egg! The eggs were perfectly cooked and so worth it! I got the mala shio ramen with egg and regular noodles and my husband got the black sesame ramen with egg and regular noodles. I really enjoyed my ramen, the mala shio had a nice warming spice to it and I really liked sipping on the broth.

A small and kind of busy restaurant here in Berkeley. When I first walked in, I immediately noticed the nice light fixtures. Lots of students are seen here and it looks like a place for a late night grub session! I came here with some friends and we were immediately seated down. We all ordered by scanning the QR code with the table. There were cups on the side you can take for water, so you don't have to pay a $1 for it. My order was the Tonkatsu Ramen, which was good! I loved the noodles, and the meat was very tender. However, I do think the meat part was a little on the 'okay' side. The only downside-ish part to this visit was a small mishap with our orders. My friend was getting ready to eat her ramen when a worker had delivered another bowl of the same dish to our table. She didn't order two, so we were very confused at first until she lifted up the plate to see the receipt. We found out that that bowl was for someone else! We called a worker to discuss it and she just took it without saying anything really. Other than that, I wouldn't mind coming back here. The ramen is still good, and the atmosphere was nice to talk in and catch up with friends.

consistently great stuff, only trouble is sometimes the QR code system makes it challenging to be served. I did wait a really long time for my food once and i suspected it was simply a matter of forgetting where I was.

Very big and spacious restaurant with lots of tables both upstairs and downstairs. Ordering is very straight forward with the QR code. They have a variety of ramen flavors and appetizers. The service was fast as the food came out very quickly after my friend and I ordered. Chicken karaage (5/5) Highly recommend! This is better than the ramen and the portion is very generous with the price. The seasoning and the aioli sauce are so good together. Tsukemen (2/5) I won't recommend this as it was hard to eat with the noodles all stuck together. The broth was not hot enough and the noodles are room temperature. The pork was very dry as well. I added Woodward mushroom and a marinated egg which made the meal more enjoyable.

One of my favorite ramen spots in Berkeley! Got the curry ramen which was very flavorful, came with plenty of fried chicken pieces too for a very hearty portion. Also got the spicy garlic calamari which was exceptional and had a nice kick, definitely try that out! Friends got chicken karage and takoyaki and those were great as well, appetizers were just superb across the board. You can order via website/Snackpass to your table which is very convenient. Great place!

Absolutely great ramen with great noodles, broth, and cha-shu pork. Definitely try it out.

Definitely not bad, but nothing special. Your standard ramen experience and I guess pretty good for Berkeley.

Fair price. Mala Shio Ramen is my favourite. Pork can be better.

Price was ok for the amount, but the price of apps was amazing! The shrimp is so flavorful for 5 bucks. The ramen was really good, especially the one with the spicy pork and chicken base soup was very good. The noodles were a bit on the firmer side, and it sucks getting yourself your own water. Hand sanitizer is only on the first floor so it's inconvenient and you place orders on your phone, which is a bit inconvenient if you want to use cash. Would come here again!

I did enjoy it very well. The starters are not too pricy for amount of fair portions given. I think that would be my favourite part but yet this is not Korean so one can have fun with small plates. It's right in the middle of Telegraph with contrast shops around it. When you stand in front of the restaurant, one can barely see anything inside. At first I thought it was closed, there's a lit open sign on the left side. The place is so well decorated and it's an inspiration to just be there and vibe. I wanted to stay longer and pop out my MacBook, notebooks, iPad, and books but it's not a café. Well done on the atmosphere. There's also a floor above the ground floor. They take protocol for covid strongly. One is given a QR code on the table and try to stay on that table because it corresponds to the table you are sitting when you order. The waiter was fast and has good service. The time my food got to the table was extremely acceptable. Vegetarian ramen Takoyaki Broccoli (air fried?) The takoyaki seemed very doughy. I say this compared to other places this seemed undercooked here. The broccoli was very interesting and tasty. The outer layer was crispy and the flavour was so savoury. I enjoyed the veggie ramen very much but my only dissatisfaction was the taste of the ramen. They tasted like the package ones, but I have not experience with udon which I did not come across the menu. You are given complimentary cucumber water. All in all I'm content and happy I came here in a cold afternoon filled with moist mist in the south side of Berkeley. Bring a friend or two next time.

After having dining hall food for weeks, I wanted to go and grab some real food, and ramen was at the forefront of my mind. First I saw that Bear Ramen House was the closest so I ended up going there, but to be frank, it was gross. I decided to give ramen in the area another shot after doing a little more research and seeing that Sojo was supposedly good, and during my first visit, I was blown away. The service was great and they made my food extremely fast, despite the many customers that day. I got the veggie spicy garlic shoyu with the chili paste and it tasted AMAZING! This place has become one of my favorites here in Berkeley and I've started going at least once every 1-2 weeks, changing up what I order and trying differnt things every time. 10/10 recommend if you're living near campus or just in the area and want some good food

After walking by this spot many times, I finally got the chance to try it out! It replaced boileroom, which was a hotpot place. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which has a chicken and pork soup base. In it, I got the regular noodles, chili paste, and chili oil. The noodles themselves were pretty good: they were cooked well and had a nice texture. The soup itself was a bit less flavorful than I wouldve hoped, but still good nonetheless. I thought the chashu was the best part, however. Great flavor and cooked perfectly! Overall, I would recommend giving this spot a try, though I do think Ippudo is still a bit better.

Decided to try this place because it was new on Telegraph, and it was pretty good, but not particularly impressed. The mala shio ramen is good, and the spice is the type where if you inhale too fast you might choke on the pepper flakes, so you have to eat it slowly. The shrimp was very underwhelming and the edamame was medicore, and I wish the cucumber had more flavor. Overall, I had a good meal but I probably wouldn't come back unless I was really craving ramen and I couldn't make it to Oakland for better ramen.

Delicious ramen, nice service, and free fried chicken with two ramen orders. Notably good broth -- we heated leftovers up today and it was fully jello texture in the fridge. Great great chashu, good price, big serving of noodles, nice service. Only complaint is with that it came with a little bit of other veggie toppings (black mushroom slices? Pickled something? Couple pieces of boo choy?) without having to pay extra (it only came with green onion). Check this place out! We will be back.
